The purpose of a Local Legislative day is to allow our IIAMC Members an opportunity to become educated and get active in the legislative front by meeting with local elected representatives of New York State. Our goal is to create another opportunity to meet and discuss our issues with them rounding out a great Legislative Events Calendar that includes the IIABNY Capital Event and our Legislative Luncheon. 

 

Get involved and stay involved!  We all know that our industry is heavily regulated and building a relationship with a elected official is a great way to help inform them of our positions on issues. If they view you as a trusted source for information, they will call you and ask your opinion.
