Becoming a Member

Voting Member - An independent licensed insurance agent representing a company(s) doing business in the agency system in the county of Monroe.

Associate Member - Current employees of independent insurance agency companies and are entitled to discount educational programs, discount advertising in our local publications and listing in our directory.

Affiliate Member - All other persons, firms or corporations engaged in businesses which are supportive of the American agency system; independent adjusters or vendors providing services to independent agencies.

As Independent Insurance Agents, the members of IIAMC are unified with common goals, common needs and common business philosophies. The objectives of the IIAMC include: to uphold the principles and conserve the integrity of the American Agency System; to provide for discussion and exchange of views between members; to promote and encourage good public relations between the insuring public, the insurance companies and their representatives.
